Hi, my name is Isabel van de Stadt and I’m a graphic designer experimenting within a wide range of mediums and materials—including ceramics, photography, moving image and bookmaking. I like to work with a hands-on approach and an open mind. My work reflects my curiosity for themes like craftsmanship, physics, perception, and form. Currently I’m in my fourth year of the bachelor Graphic Design at ArtEZ Arnhem.

Cartography of Crowns

Visual exploration of the crown—a part of the body we usually don’t really look at. I photographed the top of people their heads and transformed the photos into new images and objects; transforming them into something unfamiliar and slightly absurd.
